Suicide committed by a loved one is very difficult to handle and can cause a considerable amount of mental trauma. This center provides a good support system to loved ones left behind. The system is especially geared towards military spouses and families.
3. The Dougy Center - website
The Dougy Center is designed as a support system for grieving children, teenagers, and young adults who have experienced unexpected grief. The support is provided through peer support groups, training, engagement, and education. This center helps over 400 children and over 250 family members overcome personal loss.
4. Heartlinks Grief Center - website
This establishment offers useful resources and reading material, professional counseling, and support groups to help grieving individuals of all ages deal with personal loss of a loved one or an important member of the family. The center helps over 800 people annually and is very successful in helping people adjust.
